Overview
ClearCash is a personal budgeting app operated by Jones Vicinus. This policy explains what data we collect, how we store it, and your rights over it. We don't sell your data. We don't run ads. Your financial information stays private.
What we collect
- Account data — your email address and optional display name, provided when you create an account.
- Financial data — transactions, budget categories, income entries, and savings goals that you enter into the app.
- No analytics — we do not use Google Analytics, tracking pixels, or any third-party analytics service.
Demo mode: If you use the app without an account, all data is stored only in your browser's local storage and never leaves your device.
How we store it
Accounts and their data are stored in Supabase, a cloud database provider. Supabase stores data on servers in the United States. All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. Row-level security ensures that each user can only read and write their own data.
Third-party sharing
We share your data with no third parties except Supabase, which processes it solely to provide the database service. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
Your rights
- Delete your data — use Settings › Reset account within the app to remove all your financial data.
- Delete your account — email jones@bowst.com to request full account deletion.
- Data export — contact us at the same address if you would like a copy of your data.
Cookies
ClearCash only stores a session cookie required for authentication. We do not use advertising cookies or persistent tracking cookies.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will notify signed-in users by email.
